about us
We strive to remain a dependable partner by staying close to our clients,
offering prompt and multifaceted intellectual property support,
and contributing to the growth of their businesses in the global market.
  1. Agile and Responsive Service

A Lean and Flexible Team Structure

The IP landscape is constantly evolving. To keep pace, an IP firm must act decisively and operate with agility. Since our founding in 2007, we have maintained a compact, highly skilled team that enables quick decision-making and flexible responses. Each of our attorneys handles cases from initial consultation through registration and post-grant maintenance, ensuring smooth, consistent communication with no unnecessary handovers.

  2. Comprehensive, Multidisciplinary Support

One-Stop Services Across the IP Spectrum

Despite our compact size, we provide a full range of IP services by combining the strengths of attorneys with diverse technical and legal backgrounds. We also maintain a robust international network of professionals and partner firms, enabling us to support clients across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
In 2024, we entered into a strategic alliance with Higashimachi LPC, a Japanese law firm. This allows us to offer integrated legal support in Japan that goes beyond IP strategy, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution under Japanese law—all delivered seamlessly under one roof.

  3. Deep Local Roots, Global Perspectivey

    Long-Term Partnerships Built on Trust

Our firm is based in Kobe, a major city in western Japan, and we have built long-standing relationships with clients across Japan and beyond. While based locally, we have a strong record of serving international clients through reliable, transparent, and timely communication.
Under Japanese law, patent rights are valid for up to 20 years, and trademark rights can be renewed indefinitely. Long-term IP protection and utilization require ongoing, strategic support. We are committed to being a trusted partner for clients worldwide throughout every stage of the IP lifecycle.

The Shinko Building, which houses our office, is a historic structure completed in 1939.
Among the many modern-era buildings that remain in Kobe’s Old Foreign Settlement, it stands out with its striking presence.
Like the Shinko Building, we hope to be a lasting presence cherished by the local community for years to come.
